Our SymphonyLand Series gets national attention on Barefoot Books blog. Read it here.
This series of trio performances from the Canton Symphony Orchestra introduces students to the world of the symphony in a fun, interactive and musical way. Each trio performance centers around a children's story book and features a different instrument family (string, brass and woodwind.) While each performance is unique, the music and academic concepts will be addressed and reinforced at each to maximize children's learning potential. The more performances you attend, the more you learn! Each performance is developed to address Ohio Academic Content Standards in Music, Language Arts, Social Studies and Science.
The trio performances give children an up close introduction to each instrument family. The experience is complete when you hear all of the instrument families together at the Kinder Concert!
SymphonyLand performances are open to the public as well as school groups.
