Cable Recital Hall - Cultural Center for the Arts
This series of trio performances from the Canton Symphony Orchestra introduces students to the world of the symphony in a fun, interactive and musical way. Each trio performance centers around a children's story and features a different instrument family.
SymphonyLand performances are open to the public as well as school groups. All performances are in Cable Recital Hall at the Cultural Center for the Arts, 1001 Market Ave N, Canton.

YOUNG PEOPLE'S CONCERT
Wednesday, April 6, 2011 - 9:30 & 10:30 a.m.
Umstattd Hall, McKinley High School
The Young People's Concert, for students in grades 4 through 6, is a full-orchestra event in a concert hall setting. Students experience classical music in an engaging, age-appropriate way while recognizing how music relates to other content areas. THe program changes from year to year and often includes a recorder play along piece.

KINDER CONCERT
Thursday & Friday, April 7, 2011 - 9:30 & 10:30 a.m.
Great Court, Cultural Center for the Arts
Kinder Concert programs offer young audiences (grades Pre-K through 1) the opportunity to hear the full orchestra creating classical music together in an informal setting. For children who have attended any of the SymphonyLand programs, the Kinder Concert will reinforce what they have previously learned. For our first time audience members, the program will introduce them to the various instrument families of the orchestra as the musicians demonstrate them throughout the program. Ohio Academic Content Standards in Music, Language Arts, Social Studies, Science and/or Math are always included to make this a fully educational experience for every audience member!
