Jeff Talbert is a 1989 graduate of Timken Senior High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Muskingum College (New Concord, Ohio) where he played football for four seasons. He earned a masters’ degree from Ashland University (Ashland, Ohio). During his career in education, he has been a classroom teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent.
He has extensive administrative background in public education having been the principal of McKinley High School, superintendent of Osnaburg Local School District, and assistant superintendent of Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District. Most recently, Talbert served as Superintendent of Alliance City Schools for six years until joining the Canton City Schools as its superintendent in 2020.
He and his wife, Kelly, reside in Alliance and have four children together.
