DESCRIPTION

This transformative concert replaces our classic orchestral pops performance with a thought provoking multi-media arts experience. This production leads the audience through a plethora of emotion and art. The organic, worldly chord progressions, folk tribal vocals, and syncopated rhythms of this distinct act make the crowd feel like they’re immersed in the goodness of true humanity.

The program will include a series of videos created by Angie Haze and filmmaker, Todd Volkmer titled “May My Stories Be Worn Like My Coats” – a visual depiction of her life story. Canton Symphony Orchestra will accompany Haze’s band.

“The Angie Haze Project displays a quirky versatility that few other bands can match. Lyrically, stylistically, musically, emotionally, this album is a many-faceted gem. But whichever side one observes, Angie Haze’s expressive, exquisite voice intertwines and holds the parts together. Everyone is likely to have their favorites, but there are no weak songs here, only strength upon strength.”
-Jeff Wanser / Buzzard Tracks: Northeast Ohio Music News and Reviews

This concert inspired our season-long focus on resiliency, so we will be doing collections for our community. We at the Canton Symphony Orchestra hope that you will provide a donation to our designated partners. As a token of our appreciation, we will give you $5 off per order for each donation brought in (limit one per order per customer). We will be collecting personal care items, baby supplies, and household items for the Domestic Violence Project.
