The Canton Symphony opens this historic season with our talented musicians and our longtime conductor, Gerhardt Zimmermann. Celebrating 30 years with the symphony, Maestro Zimmermann shares his lifelong passion for Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, both in the piece itself, and as quoted in the young American composer Kevin Puts’ Inspiring Beethoven. “This piece literally saved my life, “ says Gerhardt, “it will be a night to remember with this wonderful orchestra!”
