MICHELLE MULLALY

Interim Executive Director & Director of Marketing

Describe your ideal vacation.

Anywhere that I can just sit and read … especially on a beach with white sand and palm trees.

What person has been the biggest influence in your life and why?

My mother – she totally shaped who I am today and taught me everything I ever needed to know. She was always there when I needed her and knew when to back off when I didn’t.

What is the title of the last book you read?

The Help by Kathryn Stockett – an amazing look at the Civil Rights issues in the United States in the early 1960s.

Describe a perfect meal.

Anything made with fresh ingredients – preferably ones just picked from my garden - and a nice glass of red wine.

What do you like most about working for the Symphony?

Being able to sell something that I love!

Michelle Mullaly was born in Elyria, OH and moved to Vermilion, OH when she was 10. She went to Hiram College where she majored in Music History & Theory.

Michelle is very excited to be assisting the organization during the transition of leadership.

The past 14 years she has been raising her children and teaching private piano and voice lessons as well as teaching preschool music. Before that, she was the Associate Marketing Director for Cleveland Opera.

Michelle now lives in Bath with her husband, 3 sons, a dog and a cat. In her “spare” time she enjoys hanging out with her family and working in her garden.
