What to Expect

Locations & Parking

Free parking at most concert locations.

The Canton Symphony Orchestra performs in a variety of venues to bring music to all parts of Stark County. Below is a list of all venues and types of concerts performed there.

Buying Tickets

In Person

     The Canton Symphony Ticket Office is located in the Cultural Center for the Arts. It is open Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

By Mail

     Call the Ticket Office at 330-452-2094. A per order fee may apply.

Online

     Tickets and subscriptions are available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Convience charges may apply.

At the Door

     The box office, at the concert venue, opens one hour prior to each event.

Unable to use your tickets?

     Season subscribers may exchange them for any other performance in the KeyBank MasterWorks Series in the same season by calling the ticket office prior to the event to release your seats. The purchase price of your released seats may be claimed as a tax-deductible contribution. Tax receipts are available upon request.

At the Concert

Doors open one and a half hours prior to the concert. Box Office opens one hour before.

Ushers

     Ushers are provided as a volunteer service by the Symphony League of Canton. If you need assistance, please ask an usher.

Cameras or Tape Recorders

     The use of camera or tape recorders at Canton Symphony Orchestra performances is strictly prohibited.

Electronic Devices

     Persons with paging devices, or who are expecting urgent calls, are requested to leave their name and seat number along with the pager at the Ticket Office upon arrival at Umstattd Hall. Persons with telephones or time pieces having an audible signal are requested to silence them prior to the start of the concert. We thank you in advance for turning off your cellular phone.

Latecomers

     Latecomers will be seated only at the first convenient pause in the program. Similiarly, audience members who must leave before the conclusion of the concert are asked to do so only during a pause in the program in order not to disturb other patrons.
