Auditions will be held in Canton and Cleveland.  Refer to the following for dates and locations. To schedule an audition, other than concertmaster and the flute positions, please contact Michael G. The following are repertoire lists for section string openings.  Please prepare a solo of your choice plus the excerpts from the appropriate category.  Sight-reading is a possibility.  Also, please bring your own music and excerpts to the audition - none of the excerpts will be available at the auditions.

Per service rate for the section string positions is $103.99 for the 2017-2018 season, plus 5% pension contributions (AFM-EPF).  Per service rate for the first daily Ensemble service (up to 1 hour period) is $85.00 for the 2017-2018 season.  Some services require daytime availability.


All applicants are required by federal law to demonstrate eligibility to accept employment with the Canton Symphony Orchestra.
